Jag blir lika fascinerad varje gång. Allt leder till någonting annat, det går inte att hindra. Vad som får det bra vs. dåligt går att fundera på och diskutera. Filmen visar tydligt hur någonting så obetydligt som en tunnelbana - nu eller om fem minuter - kan avgöra ens liv, och så är det hela tiden! Tänk på det.

"Helen (Gwyneth Paltrow) gets fired from her PR job and runs to catch her train home. We see what would happen to her if she missed the train, and what would happen to her if she made it. If she makes the train, she meets the charming James (John Hannah) and catches her boyfriend Gerry (John Lynch) in bed with his ex-girlfriend. If she misses the train, she doesn't meet James, and Gerry's affair continues under her nose. The two Helens diverge dramatically into one successful and the other one absolutly not as good. Will true love win out? What does Fate have in the cards for Helen?
The movie is about how seemingly insignificant occurrences (like making or missing the subway) can dramatically change one's life."
